Nestled in the verdant slopes of Cachar, Assam, is an expanse of bountiful Tea bushes planted over an expanse of 1500 hectares. The Binnakandy Tea Estate produces superior quality tea and is home to hundreds of families who live in some of the 550 quarters built within the estate. The recently renovated and modernised tea factory has a capacity to process over 1.4 million kgs of Black Tea.
Popularised as “Golden Horse,” the Cheviot tea is sold in packets of 50, 100, and 250 grams. It is sold across the country and is known for its robust flavours and premium quality.
Marketed in the name of “Binnakandy” in Auction Centers, the tea is sold at some of the highest rates when compared to tea from other Cachar Tea Gardens.
