Our Legacy

The Delta Jute Mills Company Limited (DJML) was established on the 27th of December 1897 by Andrew Yule & Co. The mills evolved through the years before being acquired by the Kanoria family and rebranded as Cheviot Company Limited (CCL) in 1976. The mission for the past 5 decades, under the guidance of three generations of the Kanoria family has been to produce stronger, finer, and more sustainable products.
